Rationale for internship placement
Throughout my previous internship with Wasatch Community Gardens, I realized that I really enjoy working closely with the local community. Making personal connections with people is something I value, which is why I searched for a community outreach internship. Thus, I reached out to the Natural History Museum because they work with the local community, in addition to communities statewide. I also realized that I enjoy working for non profit organizations, because unlike corporations, employees are working for the good of the people, rather than money. I believe that the Natural History Museum of Utah is a good fit for my internship, and I am excited to get started!
